Robert W. Burnett
Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder
Robert brings over 25 years of wealth experience to the table. His career encompassing valuable periods at Merrill Lynch, J.C. Bradford, and MetLife where he advanced to a National Sales Role for Financial Institutions and Regional Broker-Dealers. He adeptly cultivated and led a dynamic team of over 60 professionals, contributing over $6 billion in annual sales. He has held Director positions that focused on Alternative investments in Master Limited Partnerships, non-traded REITs, and most recent 1031-realestate exchanges. Robert is a US Veteran and served in the United States Air Force.
Jack Hicks
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Jack joins Javelin Capital with 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. His knack for building relationships and creative problem solving was honed managing a leading Brokerage General Agency where he oversaw a group of 150 independent insurance and financial professionals, with his personal production focused on business and estate-planning for high-net-worth clients. Jack is a native Nashvillian and graduated from the University School of Nashville and the University of Mississippi.
Ford Waters
Senior Director Development & Acquisitions and Co-Founder
Ford is the President and CEO of Ford Waters & Associates, Inc. based in Birmingham, Alabama. He oversees the real estate development and property management activities of Ai Corporate Interiors, LLC, The Everest Condominiums, LLC, and others. Previously, he worked with HB Zachery in Dallas, Texas, managing the construction of various interstate highways and bridges, such as Woodall Rodgers Freeway and DFW International Airport. Subsequently, he joined his family's construction and property management business in Montgomery, Alabama, where he developed residential housing projects across the state. Over his career, Ford has completed numerous multi-family apartment and condominium communities totaling over 2,500 units, as well as single-family subdivisions in multiple states. Mr. Waters holds a degree from the Culverhouse School of Business at The University of Alabama and possesses a General Contractor’s License.
